Join in an afternoon of family fun: Games and contests for kids of all ages; lantern making; live music; food & drink. Entertainment starts at 3pm; you're invited to join the Lantern parade around Kaiwaka village at 5:30pm.

The Kaiwaka Lantern Festival is entirely organised and run by volunteers. Each year we plan improvements, line up sponsors, organise creative contributions and performers, and pull together all the parts which make this festival such a fun day for everybody.
